Madhavi Sharma Guleri is a former journalist turned yoga teacher and avid mountain explorer. With nearly 60 Sahyadri treks and major Himalayan expeditions- including the Chadar Trek, Adi Kailash, and the EBC route via Cho La and Gokyo- she carries the mountains not just in her footsteps, but in her identity. For Madhavi, the Himalayas are more than a destination; they are her second home.

Born in Shimla and raised in the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India, Madhavi now lives in Mumbai, blending her storytelling background with strategic marketing expertise. Having experienced both rural Himalayan life and metro-city culture, she connects with trekkers of every kind. Her campaigns are authentic because she has lived the journeys she promotes.

Transitioning from journalism to yoga refined her mindfulness and resilience. A certified yoga teacher with training in Ayurveda, Madhavi guides individuals in Ashtanga yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, inspiring wellness in herself and those around her.

Today, as Marketing Head at Sherpa Holic Trek & Expedition, she combines storytelling, wellness, and mountaineering to lead brand strategy, community-driven marketing, and client engagement. I am Ashwini Angarkhe from Pune, Maharashtra, India  I am an Exercise Coach, Dietitian, and Dance Fitness Instructor, proudly working in the fitness industry since 2007. My journey blends two passions that define me—fitness and the mountains.
My love for trekking began in my college days, leading me across numerous trails in the Sahyadri ranges, including the highest peak of Maharashtra, Kalsubai. But the Himalayas always held a special place in my heart, especially the dream of trekking to Everest Base Camp and visiting Mt. Kailash.
In May 2025, I attempted the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek for the first time. Due to mountain sickness, I had to return from Gorakshep, just before the final destination. While it was a setback, it became my strongest motivation. I promised myself I would return—stronger, better prepared, and as a trek leader, guiding others toward their Himalayan dreams.
To celebrate my culture and add a unique challenge, I chose to complete my next EBC trek in a traditional Maharashtrian saree.
In October 2025, I fulfilled that promise. From 25th October to 3rd November 2025, I successfully completed the Everest Base Camp trek in collaboration with Sherpa Holic Trekking & Expedition.
The Sherpa Holic team played a crucial role in this journey.
A heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Nurbhu, an exceptional guide who managed everything with calmness, confidence, and expertise. His support, along with well-arranged and comfortable teahouses, made the entire trek smooth and memorable.
This journey has deepened my connection with the mountains, and I look forward to many more treks with the Sherpa Holic team in the future.

pasang Sherpa originally from okhaldunga district currently living in Everest region Lukla with very young age i started my career as a porter for 3 years in the high elevation with following my passion in trekking and mountenering I've trained and got licence form ministry of Nepal tourism I've good knowledge about the culture mountains and many others.
